Welcome to La Petisserie! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, https://lapet-isserie.com/ ("Website"), and the purchase of our products and services. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website.
1. General Terms
- By using our Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have legal parental/guardian consent.
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Orders, Payments & Returns
Placing Orders
- All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Taxes and shipping fees may apply at checkout.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion.
Payments
- We accept payment through Shopify Payments and other third-party payment processors. By providing payment details, you confirm that you have the legal right to use the payment method.
- Payments for all online orders must be completed before processing and shipment.
Returns & Exchanges
- We accept returns within [Insert Return Policy Timeframe] days of purchase. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
- We offer a full refund or exchange on your FIRST purchase of any bakery products, no questions asked. However, we require a receipt or order number for processing.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.
- We reserve the right to refuse refunds or exchanges if we determine that this policy is being abused.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Online Shipping
- Orders placed after 12 pm on Saturday will be shipped the following Monday morning.
- If package theft is a concern in your area, please select the “Signature Confirmation” option at checkout. We cannot replace stolen packages.
Local Pick-Up
- Orders may be picked up from our brick-and-mortar location during regular business hours.
- If pick-up is required outside of regular hours, please email info@lapet-isserie.com. We will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee availability.
Local Curbside Delivery
- If selected at checkout, a team member will contact you within 24 hours to arrange delivery.
- Available curbside delivery options include: (1) meeting the client curbside at their building entrance, (2) dropping the package off with a doorman, or (3) leaving the package in an accessible package room.
- Curbside delivery is not a door-to-door service.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to an unreachable client, the client must pay any necessary shipping fees or a $10 re-delivery fee.
4. Dog Eligibility & Services
Eligibility Requirements
- Dog eligibility for services is determined on a case-by-case basis.
- A required intake call and in-person meet-and-greet must be completed before accepting new clients.
Intake Calls
- A $30 consultation fee covers a 1-hour intake call (30 minutes for a questionnaire and 30 minutes for Q&A).
- This fee may be applied as a deposit for future services.
- If no further services are booked, the fee remains non-refundable.
Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations
- A 20% deposit is required to secure any service booking.
- Bookings are subject to a 2-week cancellation policy (after which deposits are non-refundable).
Payments for Services
- Payments for recurring services (e.g., daily walks, weekly training) must be received 24 hours prior to the appointment.
- Payments for ad hoc services (e.g., boarding, private training) must be paid in full within one week of the invoice date.
Additional Fees (Tolls, Parking, & Remote Locations)
- Additional fees may apply for remote service locations or high toll costs.
- If parking is unavailable within 30 minutes of arrival, the cost of private parking will be added to the client’s invoice.
5. Product Descriptions & Intellectual Property
- We strive for accuracy in product descriptions and images, but variations in color or design may occur due to monitor differences or photography.
- All Website content (text, graphics, logos, images) is the property of La Pet-Isserie and protected under copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
- We are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using our Website or purchasing our products/services.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the purchased product or service.
7. User Accounts
- Creating an account may be required to access certain features.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law
