Soothing Beef

Our wet food recipe contains 66-75% meat, 15-20% whole grains/seeds, 10% fruits and vegetables. We lightly steamed the ground beef to 170-degrees Fahrenheit, which is an FDA-recommended “food safe temperature.”

We then add our signature blends of raw-dehydrated, organic fruits, vegetables, seeds, and gluten-free grains to the mixture, off of the heat, to preserve all those heat-sensitive phytonutrients.

Lastly, we add a dash of Himalayan pink salt, pepper and rosemary, both for aroma as well as their natural “preservative” properties.

Soothing Beef

If you are planning to use as a base meal, I recommend allotting ¾ of that number for your pup’s meals. If using as a meal mixer or for a frozen treat, then I generally recommend reserving no more than ¼ of that number for your wet food purchase. (Studies show that switching even just 25% of your dog’s diet over some to fresher, less processed food still produces substantial health results!). We add $1 per glass jar, which is refundable upon return to us.

Portion Sizes

Our Canine Customs are conveniently shaped into pre portioned, 100-calorie meatballs that are immediately flash-frozen, and then stored in vacuum sealed glass mason jars until ready for use.

They will stay fresh, in the fridge, up to 7 days (as long as the seal has not been broken). To maximize freshness, I recommend storing half your weekly stock in the fridge (for immediate use within 3-4 days), and the other half in the freezer (until you are ready to use them).
